Camila's Interview

I wanted to do something different cause as many of my classmates were going to interview people of our career, I wanted to know the point of view of somebody that doesn't know enough about my career, but after the interview I realize that she wasn't so far of reality.

I interviewed a friend, her name is Camila and she study graphic design. With her I could see that we agree in almost everything. She said something really important that all of us need to have in mind always, that to be a tracher will not be easy, cause this is a hard job. I asked her about the expiriences with her teachers and as everybody we all had good teachers and bad teachers, but she had one teacher in school that make her think better about the teachers. I know that there are more bad teachers that the good ones, but we just need one single teacher that make the difference to change lifes, only with the good teacher that she had, she saw that there are some people that likes what they do, people who enjoy teaching and those are the ones that we need to be.

I want to say thanks to Camila, also to my teacher Jean Paul to give me the opportunity of know that I have a big responsibility coming in my future, I hope that I can handle it.

This is a drawing of her because she didn't wanted a picture.

The board

Would I carry the board?

You need to watch the movie if you really want to know what I´m talking about. So let me introduce the movie and put in context. The movie that happen in Iraq, shows teachers traveling all around the country looking for students, but anybody wants to learn, they just ignore them, like they just were not there. This movie make me think about the real meaning of passion in this career. For me, a teacher in progress, show me reality of this job, that is not easy, actually is one of the hardest jobs, because in your hands are many life in game.

This tough movie will make you think better if you have what it´s need it to be a good teacher. A teacher that not only gives you a lesson, a teacher that can change your life. The quality of the teachers in the movie are not that good, but that doesn´t matter, what really matters is that they want to teach ´cause they know that it is important to know that knowledge it is necessary learn what´s around you, and talking in that context, it´s more important.

So thanks to this movie I rebuild my point of view of the meaning about being a teacher and it doesn´t matter how hard can the road, it´s just important to be focus in what I like, and what I like is to teach. So the answer to the tittle will be, yes I would carry that board, no matter what.

Now I will ask you the same questions that i did to myself. Would you carry the board?

How do you think that could be your reaction to be rejected by your students?

Thinking in the context of Iraq, do you think that the people who think that is not necessary to learn are right, due to their culture?

I´m hoping that you can enjoy the movie as I did, I know that is difficult due to the language, but please don´t focus on that and think more depth.

Rodas' Interview

I feel that is necessary to say why I interviewed Juan Carlos Rodas, before I start to say what he answered. I picked Rodas because he is the reason why I'm still studying this career. I came to university with another mentality about being a teacher, actually I wasn't that sure about that idea, but thanks to him I'm really sure why I do want to be a teacher.

I asked to rodas why he decide to be a teacher, and after 5 seconds of silence he answer.
He think that the decision of be a teacher is not related with your studies, even if you study to be a teacher it doesn't mean that your are going to be a teacher, he think that is more related with circumstances, he studied philosophy and he wanted to be a great writer, I think he is, and that's why he think that to be a teacher is not related to your studies, and is more with the circumstances "Azarosas" and to have character, because the character is something that you can't learn anywhere, you just have it. He didn't decided to be a teacher as first option, he was trowed to education and there are lucky moments and unlucky moments, and he had lucky.
Being a teacher make him feels younger, more player, less smart and irresponsible. "Portarse mal para pasar bueno" AQNR.

School's Song

I had no idea that there are a lot of songs about education until I hat to search songs about education. There are songs talking about how good school is, also how bad is, and even about revolution in school. When I found the song that I choose, I did not only find my homework, also I found a band that was really important for me five years ago, and the song named "chem 6a" from switchfoot express my feelings in that time.

I think that we all felt like we don't need to effort to be the best 'cause we can't do it and we all felt that the school is not important and we just need to have fun and chill around. We all lied to our mothers at the morning that we were sick, just to scape from a school's day, we all had that kind of feelings and that's just a simple phase of our life.

That's why I choose that song 'cause that song says and narrates a phase of my life, when I was lost, when I didn't know what to do with my future, when I wasn't sure about me, when I just thought that play and having fun was all that matters, and of course is important to have fun, but we need to have some responsibilities and be focus with our future.

This kind of songs that talks about our life, in this case about school, show us the importance and the impact on us, because those songs expres what we " teenagers" think about education.

Now I will ask you 3 questions according to the song, the song is below.

-  What kind of kids were you? Those who prefer read the book or watch the movie

- Why do you think that the school is important? If you think that is not important also say why.

- What was the impact to your life being at school.
